Who we are
AURRA is a browser-based appearance analysis beta. Contact: hello@aurra.site.
Your photos never leave your device
Face detection and every measurement run in your browser using on-device models. Photos are not uploaded to our servers, not shared with third parties, and not used to train any model. A compressed preview of your front (and optional side) scan may stay in this browser's session storage only so you can see your measurement map — it is cleared when the tab closes or when you delete your data.
What stays on your device
Derived numeric results (measurements, scores, recommendations) and optional session-only previews live in session storage. An anonymous random identifier and your 18+ confirmation live in local storage. We cannot read these from our servers.
What you may send us voluntarily
If you join a waitlist or send feedback, you may share an email address and/or free-text comments. Those are used only to reply, notify you about Progress/Premium launches, and improve the product. We do not sell this data. You can ask us to delete waitlist or feedback records by emailing hello@aurra.site.
Analytics
When configured, we record anonymous product events (for example "scan completed", "report viewed", willingness-to-pay survey answers) via PostHog to understand where the beta breaks. Analytics does not include your photos or facial measurements tied to your identity. Hosting may also collect standard access logs (IP, user agent) from the site provider.
Cookies / storage
We use browser storage for the anonymous id, age confirmation, and your session scan results. We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention
On-device scan data lasts for the browser session (or until you delete it). Waitlist emails are kept until you ask for removal or the beta ends and we migrate/delete the list. Analytics events are retained according to our analytics provider's settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data you sent us (e.g. waitlist email). Use the delete control below for on-device data, and email hello@aurra.site for anything you submitted to us.
Delete my data
This removes every piece of AURRA data from this device: your scan results, previews, anonymous identifier, and age confirmation.
Changes
We may update this notice as the beta evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
